Hi,
I've been looking for a copy of the recordings Kamau Brathwaite made of his The Arrivants trilogy which were edited by Argos in the late sixies and early seventies. I haven't been succesful. I have just found the complete -and not very good - recordings of "Masks" and "Islands" which can be downloaded from the pennsound webpage. I can see in your blog that you have a show and that you've played some of Brathwaite's Argo recordings. ¿Have you got the whole trilogy? If so, ¿Have you digitalized it and would you be willing to share it? I study language and literature in Mexico City and am working on a thesis on The Arrivants, its performance, and the materiality of sound in it, so it would be very helpful to me to get and hear those recordings.
Greetings from Mexico City

Aarón, Please write me at kdvsjazz@gmail.com and we can arrange a recording to be sent to you. I have Vol. 2, only, on vinyl. Thanks, Justin
